Invisible Bead Extensions (IBE) are a great way to add length and volume to your hair without the hassle of clip-ins or the damage caused by glue-ins. But like any other type of hair extension, IBE require proper maintenance to keep them looking great. Here are some tips to help you maintain your extensions:

Brush your extensions daily: To avoid tangles and matting, brush your extensions every day using a soft-bristled brush. Start at the ends and work your way up to the roots, being gentle and avoiding pulling or tugging on the hair.

Wash your hair carefully: When washing your hair, be gentle and use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. I personally recommend Goldie Locks or Davines. Focus on cleansing your scalp and roots and avoid scrubbing the extensions themselves. Rinse thoroughly and gently squeeze out excess water with a towel.

Use a heat protectant: If you want to use heat styling tools like a curling iron or straightener, make sure to use a heat protectant spray to avoid damaging the hair. Use low heat and avoid applying heat directly to the beads or tops or genius wefts.

Sleep with your hair in a loose braid or bun: Before going to bed, loosely braid or bun your hair to avoid tangling and matting. You can also use a silk pillowcase to reduce friction and help maintain the integrity of your extensions.

Visit your stylist for maintenance: It's important to visit your stylist every 6-8 weeks for maintenance. Your stylist can check the condition of the beads and adjust them as needed. They can also trim your extensions to keep them looking natural and healthy.

Oil your extensions everyday: Applying oil on extensions daily works wonders by infusing deep hydration, nourishment, and protection. The oil effortlessly revitalizes your extensions, combating frizz and preventing tangling. Enhancing their longevity, oiling daily promotes natural shine, restores vitality to extensions as well as natural hair.

By following these simple tips, you can help keep your IBE looking great and lasting longer. With proper maintenance, your extensions can give you the length and volume you've always wanted, without damaging your natural hair.
